1954 Making History - Model Road Racing Cars!

Many years before slot cars had been invented, Alban Adams, better known as “Mr. Model Car” of Bournemouth formed Model Road Racing Cars (MRRC).
As a pioneer and leading company in model car rail racing, MRRC started to introduce components and equipment to convert the rail cars into slot cars in 1954.
MRRC was one of the first companies to introduce slot cars equipped with features such as Ackermann steering, four wheel drive, ball race bearings together with kits and accessories that included car bodies, competition chassis, bevel gears, nylon guides, high performance motors, variable speed controllers with dynamic braking and a range of race proven parts.
By the mid to late 1960’s for the serious model car racers the “Clubman Special” range was introduced, offering a comprehensive selection of quality cars and components.

Now in the 7th decade MRRC is a company with its roots firmly established in the slot car hobby steeped with history and proud of it’s heritage.
The evolution continues with new series of cars and accessories for home racing to be released together with a comprehensive range of CLUBMAN SPECIAL tuning cars/parts for advanced racers and multifunctional SRP slot racing parts.
